About Us

Welcome to Happy Hearts Newborn Care! My name is Flora Margarita Santacruz but
everyone calls me “Marga”. I am a mother of three kids and grandmother of two. I know
how important it is for parents to find reliable care and a great fit to their family’s needs.

In El Salvador, I received a Master’s degree in Nursing and was a NICU Registered
Nurse with 20 years of experience. My passion has always been to work with children,
so working in the NICU was a very fulfilling opportunity. Here I learned different
methods and techniques for caring for children, some in need of critical attention, while
also assisting parents navigate the challenges and anxiety that comes with a child in the
NICU.
Upon my relocation to the U.S, I utilized my prior experience to seek out opportunities
working with families with preemies or first-time parents who I could offer my support.
Over the past 20 years, I have experience working with families dealing with their child
needs ranging from G-Tube, cleft lip, colic, acid reflux, as well as, helping parents
establish a feeding and sleep schedule.
Throughout my experience as a mother and nurse, I have come to appreciate how
crucial and important it is for parents to have the right support system when their child
arrives. I utilize this experience and training in developing a passion within my team and
I to provide the most dedicated support
